What Fuels my Passion for Training Trauma Therapists

My Passion for offering Trauma Training to Therapists

Some of you have been asking me why I'm so passionate about what I do - why my face just lights up when I talk about my Consultation groups and Trauma Cohort Training. Well, let me tell you about how I've been feeling this weekend.

I woke up Friday morning feeling so incredibly tapped into my purpose, and my mission in my life, and in this field of work. I’m an invited group leader this weekend that a community organization organized for families processing grief and loss.

As I packed my art supplies [and my family’s suitcases] into the car, I could just feel the deep sense of meaning and alignment - not just for myself, but for the legacy I'm building for my family and the lives I get to touch in our community.

It's moments like this that remind me why I'm so committed to inspiring, training & uplifting therapists like YOU.

  • I want you to feel that same level of passion, that sense of being truly fulfilled in your work.

  • I want you to be able to look at your loved ones, at the end of a day, and truly see them, & connect with them, in a way that you can only do when you feel  proud of yourself, & your work.

When we feel unfulfilled, we have a gnawing sense of emptiness & irritation.
When we feel fulfilled, we have much more capacity to be, & connect <3

I wasn’t always this way. And I’m not saying I’m perfect, but I’m so much more in alignment with who I want to be, & am doing the work I love, and that’s why I feel so full inside.

How I got here, and How You Can Too!

I like pausing and savoring these moments because it’s taken years of  investing:

  1. Time,

  2. Energy

  3. & Money

Into post-graduate training, my own therapy, & clinical consultation, & refining my values. And I am still investing - the inner work doesn’t stop- but the good feelings inside do keep growing.Opportunities find an easier way of landing at my doorstep-and the right kind of connections seem to find me. And that’s how I know I’m investing in the right places, and spaces.

I want you to wake up with this feeling too.

The feeling of being so tapped into your life mission.

Your passion and skills being seen by those who need you, knowing exactly where to find you.

You see, if you’re in this field it’s because you care. You want to spread healing and grow in the process. It’s one of the most meaningful lines of work we can be in. And I want you to enjoy it.

I’ve been so touched by those mentors and trainings that have gotten me to where I’m at, and I’d love to pay it forward and offer you what has been offered to me. Therefore, I’ve outlined a few of the ways I support therapists like you. Choose the one that resonates for you:

Option 1: Self-Paced Trauma Training Program

If you love learning on your own timeline and are hungry for practical tools, research, skills on somatic therapy, dissociation, assessments AND resources to become more trauma-informed —>> to improve your clinical outcomes, you can check out our self-paced program here.

You’ll be able to use and download worksheets and articles to use for yourself and sessions with your clients, too! It has 6 modules broken down into weekly videos and tutorials so you can slowly learn the information, digest it, and practice it.

Those who used it have shared how this training was deeply eye-opening to the way they understood trauma, the shift in language and tone they used in sessions, and the skills they used which deepened their clinical work. If you love learning solo and are looking for this —> grab your online access here!

Option 2: Group Trauma Therapy Consultation

This is for clinicians who already have advanced trainings in somatic experience, EMDR, IFS, or some other advanced method and need some support with implementation AND deeply desire community.

This field can be isolating, and lonely and so community is vital for our growth to feed our passion, and fend off burnout.

The participants in this group have at least  5 years of experience [many are close to 10+], have mostly full practices, and are looking for an expert to support their work with trauma, attachment issues, dissociation, EMDR, Somatic or IFS [I'm trained in all of those]. And, to get to share and connect.

In these groups are keynote speakers, published authors, practice owners, or therapists who are already making a big impact in their community or online.

—> You’re perfect for this group if you’re looking for community and consultation to do your best work and provide great therapy.

Groups are all small in size -  4 members per group, as we ensure adequate time focused on each of you and your case consultation. We meet twice a month, on zoom, for 6 months. 12 LIVE calls.

If you’re at this level of growth, apply here to join.

Option 3: Trauma Therapy COHORT Training

This is for you if you’re a really great therapist - your clients trust you and you have a good rapport with them. You likely have advanced training, but are seeking a way to really embody the skills and apply them in real-time, to your clients and their presenting symptoms. You want to feel more confident taking on new clients, and feel more focused in you sessions - knowing deep down in your bones, that your treatment plan is on point and giving them the relief they are seeking. No more second guessing or doubting.

The Trauma Training COHORT is an immersive experience in 6 months where you'll learn, discuss, and really define who you are as a therapist. It's where you'll:

  • harness the skills that experienced therapists have,

  • learn new ways of working with complex symptoms,

  • and strengthen your clinical voice.

This is your stepping stone to get you to the next level -- of embodying clinical skills and acquiring advanced interventions on somatic, IFS, and attachment informed work. You’ll get clearer on who you are, the clients you’re really good at working with - and will feel more confident and clear in your sessions.

You’ll be supported by me, and a group of 9 others [we keep these at group size 10] who all want to see you succeed and grow!

[There are a number of Trauma Cohort Alumni in one of our Consultation Groups - so if you’d like, you can join a consultation group after you complete the Trauma Training Cohort, for ongoing support.]

—-> If you’re looking to really deepen your clinical expertise with me in your corner and other wise and skilled therapists who are ready for MORE, this is the best option for you. Apply here.

I want you to feel this same sense of passion and purpose that I do.

I know you can because I have seen this happen with those in the past cohorts I’ve worked with - and if they can, so can you.  You don’t need to do it alone - I’ll help you.

-->Not sure which option is for you?

I get decision fatigue — let’s meet so we can talk through the options so you’re set up in the right place for you. Just click here - we’ll set a time to meet. A 15-minute call free of charge.

And, you’ll walk away feeling more clear. And if I'm not the right fit, I’ll connect you with other resources I have on my roster. I want you be thrilled with your next steps.
